Hi, I'm Anne. I'm going to be a junior at Edsel Ford High School and this mission trip was my third mission trip. I worked at a horse farm with a few other groups. My group team 9 also known as the Quan Squad worked on concrete. There were two large pads of concrete in front of stables that we leveled and got ready and finally poured on Thursday our last day for work. Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting and bonding with my work group but also the other groups at our site which was a really cool experience for me. We would play the name game on the bus almost every day so we could learn everyone's names and work better as a big team. The program's and different activities were great and really helped me grow closer to God. Thursday night was probably my favorite program night. Anna and I both go to another youth group with a praise and worship session every meeting. There's one song we both love and brick came up with a little clapping part for it. "His love never fails it never gives up *clap* never runs out on me" and then the song continues without clapping. Anna and I along w Cat who was sitting with us got the clap going at camp and it was just so awesome to see how we could start that when nobody else had heard it before. It's kinda like how team 9 and with God's help and the other teams we got so much work done for those who needed it.
