High School Teens

Here at Sacred Heart we have an  active youth ministry.  Sacred Heart Youth Ministry provides opportunities to be involved in many different ways for high school teens in grades 9-12, to continue to live their faith and to grow in their relationships with God and one another. 

High school program is called PHYSH--Praying & Helping Youth of Sacred Heart.

We have gatherings throughout the year to socialize, learn, pray, share, and serve.  We have pretty regular social and service activities with other parishes too.  Some of us go to youth conference--the CYO Rainbow Youth Conference held in downtown Detroit on a weekend in February and bi-annually to the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) held somewhere in the U.S. as a national gathering for Catholic high schools teens--AND some on an annual summer mission trip.  We have also attended several international World Youth Day gatherings with Catholics from around the world...and the Pope!

We participate in many Christian Service opportunities throughout the year as well (see Christian Service).  

WE KNOW YOU ARE BUSY, and your schedules don't always make regular commitments possible. You DON"T have to do anything in particular, or know anything (or anyone) special. Come when you can.  Come as you are. We'd love to  see you.
